MEET Ajay!

Introducing Ajay, our new National Sales & Export Manager.

Ajay has had the privilege of working in hospitality and across various sales channels for 25 years. He initially started his career in hospitality, but the bug of learning more about the beverage industry and specifically about wines took him to the world of Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and honed his skills there as a Sommelier.

After this he met his beautiful wife and got married, he decided to head back to India where he worked with Pernod Ricard and later with Remy Cointreau. The travelling & wine bug brought him to Australia for holidays in 2012 and he immediately made up his mind over a glass of wine watching the sunset on the beach to call Australia his home.

Since moving to Australia in 2013 he has worked as Sommelier in The Atlantic Restaurant in Crown, as Area Manager with Proximo Spirits, State Sales Manager with Lark Distilling company before jumping on to this opportunity to work at Gill estate to lead their sales and export business.

When he is not selling wines, you can find him camping, trekking and having banter about cricket whilst enjoying a glass of Rivah Tempranillo!
